TUBA platforms are modular coating systems designed to apply durable turbine‑blade thermal barrier coatings via electron beam evaporation. Ideal for both high‑volume production and engine overhaul, they support coating of aircraft turbine parts as well as stationary gas‑turbine components. The TUBA PilotX and VolumeX are available with single‑ or dual‑substrate handling configurations and with crucibles for one or two evaporation materials. The TUBA LabX provides a lab‑scale option optimized for research and development.

All TUBA systems are fitted with VON ARDENNE electron beam sources and incorporate an innovative part‑handling concept alongside advanced heating and evaporation technology to ensure repeatable, high‑quality coatings.
