We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As the Human Resource Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and enjoys working in a fast-pace environment involving domestic and international complexities. This position is based and located in Perrysburg, Ohio but there will be interaction with HR partners in Germany, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other countries.  You will be responsible for areas of employment, payroll, benefits, and personnel changes. In addition, you will have to carry out the following tasks:

Taking responsibility together
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes which include US and non-US associates.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  • Enhance HR processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP or similar platforms for data entry and reporting.
  • Partner with HR team as well as management and associates.
  • Help coordinate Benefits, Payroll, and other HR functions.
  • Administers day-to-day functions of leave cases and employment status changes.
  • Contribute and coordinate training development programs, tracking of training and retraining as required.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment, benefit laws, tax regulations and policy interpretation and adherence.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR programs, projects, and initiatives.

  • 3-5 years of work experience in providing superior customer service, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing operation, and demonstrated ability to focus and solve problems.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of employment laws.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems, ADP, and Workday is preferred.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service experience.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, science or engineering related discipline.
  • Multi-State Employment tax knowledge.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English, speaking German is a plus.
  • Background in HR administration or management.
